It all started with a New York snow storm in December 2022...
In late December, 2022, a devastating blizzard hit Western NY with winds up to 80 mph and snowfall rates up to 4” per hour. I-90 was shut down for days, leaving hundreds of cars stranded. Despite an estimated 360 calls to 9-1-1 from stranded motorists, only 128 could be reached. 48 lives were lost. No solution currently exists, should similar conditions occur again.
OUR MISSION: Deliver a safe, scalable, made in NY solution that can save lives in extreme weather conditions.
